irony

    “The 'International Medal of PEACE' is given for outstanding contribution toward alleviating the five global giants recognized by the Coalition, including pandemic diseases, extreme poverty, illiteracy, self-centered leadership and spiritual emptiness."
    He may have helped to fight aids but what about self-centered leadership, extreme poverty, and illiteracy. Look at what he did for illiteracy levels in the U.S. I don't even know if Bush is literate himself! Of course you have to consider the source, Rick Warren. I actually used to like the guy.

  2. I agree with you. As a matter of fact, I think the medal is misnamed. Name it the international medal of a PISSED fighter (Poverty, Illiteracy, Self-centred leadership, Spiritual Emptiness & Diseases).

    I think giving him a medal for Peace is a kick in the face for peace itself.
